Lick Pellets

LICK PELLETS

A concentrated pellet that provides high levels of energy and quality proteins to complement pasture or forage in a range of production systems or improve utilisation of dry pasture or stubble.  Made with Agolin Ruminant to enhance rumen function and feed conversion efficiency while reducing methane emissions.

PRODUCT BENEFITS

  • Concentrated pellet which provides high quality, balanced protein and energy to support the requirements of lambs and sheep. We don't use nutritionally poor fillers to ensure maximum feed conversion efficiency.

  • Fortified with our specially formulated vitamin and mineral premix to meet the requirements for optimum health and growth in lambs and sheep.

  • Made using Agolin Ruminant, an oil-based feed additive that buffers the rumen environment while enhancing rumen function to help maximise your flock's performance and reduce methane emissions

  • The 4 mm pellet form improves digestibility and nutrient uniformity for every animal. They are ideal for feeding out in feeders, tubs or trails. and reduce wastage.

  • Manufactured and supplied to order in our Western Australian Plant, to ensure maximum product freshness.

  • We source the best natural ingredients from farmers in Western Australia, and manufacture locally

Feeding Guide

These pellets have a very high grain content so must be introduced slowly to hungry stock.

They should be introduced over a three (3) to five (5) day period using hay or another form of fibre as a supplement.

Our pellets should be fed at a minimum rate of about 200 grams per head per day and maximum intake of about 600 g/h/d though lick feeders alone or in conjunction with other cereal grains (also through lick feeders).

The pellets would comprise of 20 to 50% of the diet of most classes of sheep; the remainder made up of varying amounts of cereal grains and roughage.

Good quality drinking water should be available at all times.
