These pellets have a very high grain content so must be introduced slowly to hungry stock.
They should be introduced over a three (3) to five (5) day period using hay or another form of fibre as a supplement.
Our pellets should be fed at a minimum rate of about 200 grams per head per day and maximum intake of about 600 g/h/d though lick feeders alone or in conjunction with other cereal grains (also through lick feeders).
The pellets would comprise of 20 to 50% of the diet of most classes of sheep; the remainder made up of varying amounts of cereal grains and roughage.
Good quality drinking water should be available at all times.
