What's in the bag:

Probiotics are ‘life microbes’ and feeding them adds good living microbes to the gut, stabilising and promoting a healthy microbial population.

Without a good microbial population in the hindgut, a horse is not able to effectively digest plant fibre material.

Pony Cubes are made with grains, fibres and oils to provide both fast and slow-release energy.

During fast bursts of energy and work, a horse’s body is using anaerobic metabolism which is fuelled by key carbohydrates, which are stored in the horse’s body as glycogen within their muscles. These carbohydrates come from grains like oats and barley which contain highly digestible starch that is then absorbed as glucose and converted to glycogen.

Performance horses that do a range of fast work and slow work need these key carbohydrate sources as well as slow-release energy sources like fibre and fat.

Pony Cubes have a high level of oil added as a cool, slow-release energy source. Oil is energy dense and high in calories, to help with conditioning as well as the added benefits of coat health and shine.

Lupins are a quality source of super fibre, protein and amino acids. Ideal for adding slow-release energy and support for weight gain and conditioning.
