Maintain & Spell Cubes have a balanced blend of Barley, Oats and Lupins, to provide balanced energy and protein. Performance horses that are used to grain in their normal diets still need a portion of grain and starch in their spelling diet to ensure consistency and gut function.
These ingredients also contribute to conditioning and topline building.
Maintain & Spell is a good source of easily digestible fibre, which provides cool, slow-release energy. Fibre is an essential component of any horse’s diet, and these high levels of fibre help to boost digestive health.
Probiotics are ‘life microbes’ and feeding them adds good living microbes to the gut, stabilising and promoting a healthy microbial population.
Without a good microbial population in the hindgut, a horse is not able to effectively digest plant fibre material.
