Did you know that horses can`t breathe through their mouth? They can only breathe through their nose, making them an `obligatory nose breather`.
💡 Did you know - At a canter and gallop, their breaths and strides are actually linked, which means they take one breath for every stride, which is called respiratory-locomotor coupling. So, if their breathing is impacted, their strides will be too.
💡Did you know - horses actually hold their breath when they go over a jump and don`t breathe again until they`ve landed.

How it started...and how it`s going! The beautiful Giselle, bred and produced by @leearapark coming away with a win at @perthroyalshow. Amazing work ladies! Giselle went home for a rest and some Equi-Restore in the paddock before she is back at the royal tomorrow.

"We love that the T&R Grower Weaner Pellets have been made with the nutritional requirements of growing and breeding horses in mind.
All of our broodmares, stallions and young stock are on this feed. The reliable, high-protein formula has added vitamins and minerals to support the correct muscle and bone formation, as well as good milk production in mares.
